Our story begins with a simple realization: the solar industry needed a reset.
Before founding Shore Home and Solar, our co-founder spent years building and leading one of the region's most successful solar sales organizations. He knows the energy sector inside and out.
He believes deeply in the incredible benefits solar offers homeowners — but he grew disillusioned as the standard corporate model shifted toward high-pressure tactics, confusing contracts, and profits over people.
Recognizing that the traditional system was fundamentally broken, he walked away from it all to build something better — a completely different kind of company, rooted in absolute transparency and genuine customer care.
As Maryland natives, born and raised, our roots run deep across the regions we serve. From our first apartment in Annapolis, to a townhouse in Glen Burnie, to buying our home on the Eastern Shore, to officially basing Shore Home and Solar right here on Kent Island in Stevensville.
